Storyline: Dad wants to see what Randy's learned, but it turns out to be martial arts.
Storyline: Noting that frogs' legs twitch when touched by electrical current, Luigi Galvani concludes that a form of electricity exists in all animal tissue. Volta challenges Galvani's conclusions, and invents the storage battery to test his ideas.
Storyline: The street is flooded, so Pierre lays down his jacket for the pretty girl to step on. Before she can cross, though, the water carries his jacket down to the storm drain.

Storyline: About the Indianapolis 500, and 1965 winner Jim Clark.
Storyline: Bobby sets out to show his parents how his flivver Henrietta can fly, but he's mistakenly driving an ordinary model. Meanwhile Ahab Giltrock is using his amphibious hydrofoil car to chase Ruthe and Leroy, who are driving the real Henrietta along the surface of the river. Giltrock accidentally rams them, sending Henrietta and her passengers sailing over the waterfall.
Storyline: Jack finds a lost poodle that won't budge from its spot. He stays with her all day, even missing the school picnic. No one comes after her, but she won't leave until he accidentally hits on her name of Mimi. After that, they go home together.
Storyline: Dr. Wyatt tells Sue and Jim about the accomplishments of the ancient Maya (many far in advance of Europe's accomplishments), the Maya practice of human sacrifice, and Edward Thompson's long struggle to rediscover Chichen-Itza.
