Doghouse

Storyline: Ali builds a doghouse but when he learns how expensive dogs are he renovates it into a birdhouse.

Storyline: Chuck drives through the snows of Bearsville in the hopes of finding Tony at Camp Pyle, which is closed for the winter. Tony feels better after a much needed good night's rest and goes hunting for deer meat. Tony mistakes Chuck for the deer he's been tracking and almost shoots Chuck. Chuck tells Tony he's innocent of hit-and-run charges. Tony was carried away from the car accident by his companions and didn't willingly leave the scene of the accident. Tony is shocked to discover he ran away for nothing.

Storyline: Directions for making a beach robe.

Storyline: As the Carters bring their big herd of cattle in for the roundup, Gopher Gus and Grogan shoot skyrockets and roman candles at the herd to start a stampede. Frumson, June and two others are in the wagon they turned into a play ship and the sails are propelling them directly at the stampede. The sight of the wagon with huge sails frightens the cattle and turns the herd around and directly at Gopher Gus and Grogan, who climb a water tower in order to prevent being trampled to death by the thundering herd.

Mystery on Oak Island

Storyline: A mystery involving strange fires burning on Oak Island off Nova Scotia in 1720. Men sent to investigate were never seen or heard from again. In 1795, evidence was found of something having been buried on the island. Digging 10 feet down found a platform of coconut fiber. Every 10 feet found another platform and they gave up after 35 feet. In 1803, more digging found more platforms and pieces of gold, but digging was hampered due to water filling up the hole. Digging resumed in 1803, but halted at 110 feet. An unknown engineer designed the hole with water traps from the ocean.

Storyline: Angie discovers the hotel room where the hate leaflets are coming from and gets held against her will. Cadwaller finds Angie in the room and worries this will lead to kidnapping charges. Joey and her parents worry about Angie's disappearance. Joey discovers the hotel room where Angie is held when he sees a waiter bringing her favorite ice cream to a room. The police arrive, free Angie and arrest Tubbs and his cronies. Oilengass finds out about the hate leaflets printed without his knowledge and he is trying to tell Pettigrew as Pettigrew is trying to tell the convention the truth.

Storyline: A discussion of relative humidity and an experiment you can perform at home in which you make a hygrometer to measure relative humidity.

The Big Ditch

Storyline: The story of Colonel George W. Goethals, the man responsible for the building of the Panama Canal. The story deals with the hardships involved in getting the canal built and how 2 men before him found the job impossible and quit.
