Mystery on Oak Island
Storyline: A mystery involving strange fires burning on Oak Island off Nova Scotia in 1720. Men sent to investigate were never seen or heard from again. In 1795, evidence was found of something having been buried on the island. Digging 10 feet down found a platform of coconut fiber. Every 10 feet found another platform and they gave up after 35 feet. In 1803, more digging found more platforms and pieces of gold, but digging was hampered due to water filling up the hole. Digging resumed in 1803, but halted at 110 feet. An unknown engineer designed the hole with water traps from the ocean.
