Storyline: The Blatt's open the door and find their "missing" children. They weren't kidnapped, they just ran away from grandma to be with their parents. The news that Pettigrew will run for president is announced and a fanatical man in Centre City watches the news on TV and is furious. He vows that Pettigrew will never become president. As Pettigrew and his party approach the state capitol, the fanatic hides behind a marble column with a gun in his hand and points it at Pettigrew.

Storyline: Short and fat and dressed in a Swiss mountain outfit, Cousin Frumson doesn't meet with anyone's expectations of what a "champ" looks like. The ranch workers make fun of him behind his back and figure he must be good at eating, judging by the size of the boy, until they see him lift a heavy bag like it was full of feathers. He changes into a cowboy outfit, which is just as comical as his Swiss outfit. He and June come across Grogan abusing a burro. He tries his hand at taming the burro and succeeds, which gets Grogan upset. To play a trick on Frumson, they put him up on Old Thunder.

Storyline: Chuck has come to New York City seeking Tony Laport, who has written him for help. He finds him headlining a mid-town theater as a pop singer named Sourdough Tony and has hundreds of screaming fans lined up to see him perform. Tony tells Chuck he wants him as his business manager to make sure the Broadway leeches don't bleed him dry. He doesn't trust his current manager, Vince Magee.
