Storyline: Pierre flips a flapjack and it rolls out of his diner.

Storyline: The schooner Resolute has been captured by arms smugglers. With Frumson and Jimmy as prisoners, the smugglers are sailing to a secret rendezvous with Gen. Lagarto, the revolutionary leader. The FBI starts out in pursuit of the smugglers and disguise themselves in pirate garb as the revolutionaries, but the fact that they're all wearing shoes gives them away. Just then, the real barefoot pirates show up and overwhelm the FBI.

Storyline: In 1531, a peasant saw a vision of the Virgin Mary, who spoke to him and asked him to tell the Bishop that a church be built on the site. The Bishop didn't believe him at first and gave him difficult tasks to perform to humor him. Little by little, the Bishop came to believe that a miracle occurred and a church was built on the site that the peasant point out to them.

Storyline: Rose is in charge of her younger sister Marge while their parents are away. Marge wants to see a movie with her friends. Rose tells Marge to check The Legion of Decency rating on the film and doesn't want her to go when she finds out it's rated A-III (unobjectionable for adults). Rose trusts Marge will see a better rated film, but her friends talk her into seeing the movie that Rose forbid her to see. Other friends of Marge happen to see her entering the theater and are shocked that she would go to see such a movie.

Storyline: Chuck and his group arrive at Copper River and begin to survey planting plots before they lay out homestead claims. Swarms of mosquitoes make the job impossible and they need to drain the swamp before any work can get started. As the swamp starts to drain, Chuck collapses with fever and a novice radio ham puts out a call for assistance.
