Boone and Madden land on an unexplored planet. Boone goes exploring and encounters a group of rather formless creatures, who transform into clones of himself. Madden has to work out which is his real co-pilot before they can leave.

Sam Waters is a successful author of science fiction stories who claims to get his highly original ideas while dreaming. One night he is transported to Venus in the year 3052. Venutian gamblers have discovered one of his old stories regarding the Interplaetary Olympics which are taking place at that very time, but the final page has been destroyed. They want know who will win the games and so make a huge profit.
