Storyline: Bolt and Doodle fly to Texas to interview Blake about his sensational oil discovery, but the boys find Blake has illegally piped refined oil onto his property to make the land appear more valuable. Blake dynamites the pipe line to destroy the evidence of his crime, but, in doing so, releases crude oil and the land becomes very valuable. Doodle's photo of the pipe line is enough evidence to land Blake a long prison term.

Storyline: Caster has bet heavily on the Cyclones winning a football game against Farr Academy. Dick suspects Caster of dirty-dealing when he discovers Caster taking copious notes at a Farr football practice. Dick is held prisoner so he cannot alert Farr authorities, but he escapes to lead Farr to victory in the last minutes of the game.

Storyline: Edison and Jerry attend Dorset's atomic energy lecture. Later, they find Dorset tied up in a storeroom, and Finchley fleeing with Dorset's uranium sample. Constable Frost frees Dorset and the boys from the locked storeroom, and they all head to the airport, certain this is Finchley's destination. Finchley is about to take off in an open plane, and hauls Edison aboard. Aloft, the pilot puts the plane into a snap roll, and Finchley is tossed to his death, having neglected to fasten his seat belt.

Storyline: Rick uses his millions to underwrite Black's trek into the Amazonian Swamp. Black believes he can prove dinosaurs still exist. Rick's plane lands in a remote area. The two men are chased by a Stegosaurus to a cave in a cliff. The two discover a cache of prehistoric golden artifacts. Black wants to keep the treasures, but Rick insists they be sent to a museum. Black pushes Rick from the cliff. Rick survives the fall, but is chased by a Tyrannosaurus. He regains his plane, but Black is carried off by a Pterodactylus. Unable to help Black, Rick takes off for home.
