Storyline

A rather strange bookbinder binds books in exteriors that illustrate the contents of the book, and Superman learns that three members of this man's club demand their books be bound in strange and unusual bindings. The Man of Tomorrow agrees to help out, since the money to be paid for the bindings will go to his choice of charities. Little does he know that Lois has a book she wants bound too: in the Man of Steel's own cloak!

Storyline

Green Arrow and Speedy encounter Mr. Twitter, who has a collection of gems which are said to bestow curses upon the owner. The newly-acquired Hiputa Ruby is stolen while Oliver and Roy are visiting the museum, but the curse comes into play and the thief's gyrocopter crashes. Many others fall victim, but Green Arrow spots an imperfection in the center of the gem. He splits it in half with a well-placed arrow, and a yellow gas escapes. Queen Hiputa had rigged the ruby to release a small portion of gas when warmed, as by the heat from a hand.

Storyline

Rollo, the Fattest Man Alive, lures ships to his island, wrecks them upon the rocks, and plunders the cargo, all with complete disregard for human life. The Boy Commandos and Rip are with an archaeological party who have promised to bring one of the famous Easter Island statues back to a museum. Rollo captures them, but they manage to escape, losing him in the process. Nevertheless, their mission has been successful.

Storyline

Zatara entertains an audience in order to bring to their attention the millions of starving persons around the world. He starts a food bank, but it is hardly sufficient. A schoolboy tells him how he can get more. Zatara visits spoilt rich persons who waste food, and magically has the food chastise them, thus causing them to mend their ways.
