Story Featuring Vigilante

"In the stirring saga of a hazardous profession..."

Storyline

Jerry Goshen is an ace motorcycle racer. He and The Vigilante compete in a race, and Goshen is knocked off his cycle. Goshen goes to a loan shark, Fonzi, to borrow a grand, but is refused, and becomes a thief to pay for his son's leg operation. He later brings the gang to justice and returns to the straight and narrow.

Story Featuring Congo Bill

Storyline

Bill is in the South Pacific, charting islands for the government. He subsequently captures a group of pearl poachers who have their own floating, motor-powered island.

Storyline

In Tokyo harbor Americommando sabotages a Japanese warship. In his disguise as Nazi officer Dr. Brand, he receives a visit from Dr. Ito. Brand is invited to join Ito in a bombing run to America, tied to one of the bombs! He escapes his bonds, drops the bombs harmlessly in the ocean and flies on the the west coast of America.

Story Featuring Zatara

"What happens when the snarling monarchs of fang and claw..."

Storyline

Speaking with Harker, director of the city's new zoo, he learns that six criminals have committed suicide by jumping into the lion's enclosure. At that very moment, Boss Bannon eludes the policemen giving chase by doing just that. He runs up to the lions and seconds later only his jacket is visible. Zatara goes into the pit and finds a trapdoor cut into the rock leading down to a chamber where the apparent suicides are gathered. The scheme of Harker is exposed, and all are carted off to jail.
