"Okay, you kids! Hand over that immy collection!"

Storyline

Clark investigates a series of robberies involving people's hobbies and those items being held for ransom, but when it is revealed that Kent's hobby is collecting clocks, Superman must step in "in time" to save the collection.

"Dolorous music wails an accompaniment to voices husky with emotion..."

Storyline

Three hungry ex-convicts are instructed to sing sad, wailing songs by The Fiddler. It is his contention that a man's most vulnerable spot is his sentimentality. Emory Tidwell, spying Stuff all mussed up from a scrap with some kids, gives him fifty dollars to buy new clothes and food. Stuff tries to explain, but hears a mournful vocalizing, so he goes over to donate the fifty dollars to the singers, only to find The Fiddler and his gang about to put a plan into operation.

Storyline

Professor Paul Pillner claims to be an authority on deciphering texts on ancient monuments. He has apparently found any number of treasure hoards by this means, but Zatara is suspicious and reveals Pillner to be a notorious fence of stolen goods.
