The Long Goodbye
St. Quirinus Patron of Yugoslavia

Storyline: Early in the third century, Caligula had ordered the torture and murder of all Christians who refused to renounce Christ and worship Roman gods. His order had gone forth to all the conquered provinces that were now ruled by the Roman Emperor. Quirinus was a Bishop and did not like running from the Romans whenever they came around looking for Christians, so he stood up to them and was arrested. He was offered life, if he worshipped Roman gods, or death. He chose death. They tied a stone around his neck and threw him in the river. In the early 5th century, his relics were taken to Rome.

Some carpenters specialize in laying hardwood floors, installing soundproofing on ceilings and walls, and constructing stairways. Some open their own shop. After an apprentice, you become a journeyman carpenter. Mr. Johnson also speaks of the carpenter's union.
