Oddity: Manhunter is called Rick Nelson once and Rick several times in this story only. Starting from next issue the name used is Paul Kirk. Some reprints of this issue (like the New Gods #4 reprint) replaces all references of Rick Nelson with Paul Kirk. While the cover image of Manhunter uses a traditional cowl with a non covered mouth and nose, the story inside is drawn with the outline of the full face mask that is blue but its recoloured wrongly using all red except the mouth and nose areas to form a cowl.
