A curio shop owner uses an ancient magic bottle to shrink people, but one of his victims turns the magic of the bottle on him and escapes, as the shop owner shrinks to nothing.
"We are certain to encounter many problems when we achieve space travel..."
A space patrol find an alien world surrounded by a strange mist. They are fired on by the inhabitants and plan to retaliate, but realize too late that they were trying to keep them from the deadly mist surrounding the planet.
The last page advertises the Strange Tales Annual (Marvel, 1962 series) #1 (1962).
"The time is a few years in the future!"
The humanity of the near future grow proud as they approach space travel, but when alien giants arrive they are only saved from conquest because they are too tiny to notice.
"Suppose you found yourself wandering the streets alone one day, not knowing who you were!"
A man finds himself lost in a fog with no idea who he is. He is approached by a stranger who offers to help him through hypnosis. The hypnosis recovers his lost memory and he realizes that he was a circus performer who has died from a fall from the high wire. The stranger is revealed as Death who was delayed from their appointed meeting and is here to usher him into the next world.
