This is a rare Wuff the Prairie Dog story without Wuff and Sammy's regular nemesis Charlie Coyote. GOOD BIT: Rollo Roadrunner touts his own speed: "I go so fast most folks don't even know I exist!"

A Gnaw and Peck Can Make Life Heck!

"All that racket around here has got to stop!"

Storyline

Tom faces the annoying noisiness of Jerry and Tuffy's gnawing and a woodpecker's pecking. How's a cat supposed to get any peace and quiet?

In this lead story, the property "Tom and Jerry" is misattributed to Warner Bros., rather than MGM. Opening panel says: "Warner Bros. Cartoons present Tom and Jerry". This error was corrected for the reprint in Tom and Jerry #317. Oddly, by way of different media corporate mergers, Tom and Jerry would later fall under the Warner Bros. umbrella.

Turnabout Is Fair Play

""Chee, Billie," Bertie Bird twittered excitedly, hopping to the edge of the snow-laced tree branch that held his home in Apple Tree Lane."

Storyline

Bertie and Billie free a big black dog whose leg is caught in some wire. In return, the dog saves Bertie and Billie from Tabby Cat.

Story Featuring Big Spike and Little Tyke

"The holidays are almost here, but I don't have the season's spirit, Tyke!"

Storyline

Spike and Tyke just don't have the Christmas spirit this year, but the birds in the house definitely do - and show it by singing, a holiday tradition that Spike does everything he can to stifle.
