Where does your comic data come from?

We source our data from the Grand Comics Database, perhaps the Internet's oldest and most comprehensive databsae for both new and back issue comics, with entries going back to the 1800s.

Our data practices pull the data from a combination of sources: their wonderful new API, and their frequently updated SQL dump. This allows the user to see a wide variety of data, including stories, creators, and characters associated with each issue, when available.
