Appearances of Ice Cream Soldier

Created by Robert Kanigher and Joe Kubert. Ice Cream Soldier first appeared in Our Army at War (DC, 1952 series) #85 (August 1959). He was killed in issue #107 (June 1961). Ice Cream Soldier continued to appear in future stories, and it was eventually explained in a letter column that the story in issue #107 took place later in the war.
