Duel of the Planets!
"Lyle! Millo is in the lead Mercurian interceptor!"
Storyline
At the round table of the Galaxy Knights one seat remains forever vacant. While investigating the anti magnetic belt around Mercury, Commando Millo slips through and has apparently deserted. When Lyle and Ora use her invention to penetrate the belt they are in time to see Millo sacrifice himself to stop the Mercurian aggressors.

Writer and pencil credits confirmed from Julius Schwartz's editorial records, provided by DC Comics. Schwartz's records indicate Joe Giella was paid for inking the story, but Bob Bailey disputes this, identifying Frank Giacoia as the inker. Keith Chandler sees this as a mishmash of many inking styles. Giella undoubtedly inks the face of Ora throughout (note the characteristic lips), while Giacoia inks other of the figures. John Giunta seems to ink the head, at least, of the Millo character. There are several other hands present also, though as yet unidentified.

Storyline
Dr. Arkin preaches some oddball theories about the sentience of insect life. His experiments transform him into a giant moth, and he sets about to revenge himself on Professor Hudson, who had him fired from the university. Like any moth, Arkin is drawn to the light, and is eventually destroyed during a Fourth of July fireworks display.
