Quasar accompanies a recovered Makkari to Lemuria to rescue Master Elo. Once there, Quasar becomes embroiled a gladiatorial contest. Tutinax appears to Quasar as his father, who he can't fight, so Makkari rescues him. Gilbert Vaughn dies.
