Storyline
Mr. Fantastic recalls his battle with Gormuu and the Fantastic Four visit the Richards' estate in California. Trying to discover the mystery of his memory loss, Reed opens his father's old lab and finds a time platform.

Story Notes
Bulk of the comic is a pre-FF tale done in the Lee/Kirby style. Gormuu bares a striking resemblance to Giganto from Fantastic Four #1, in so much as that writer Jeff Rovin in his 1989 book The Encyclopedia of Monsters refers to the creature as such. This was before the monster was given the name "Giganto" in Avengers West Coast #54 (January 1990). Gormuu would have flashback cameos in Fantastic Four vs. X-Men #2 (March 1987), Conspiracy #1 (February 1998) and #2 (March 1998).
