Story Featuring Godzilla
"Alaska! The mildest winter in 200 years gives way to an even warmer spring..."
Godzilla lands on American soil by bursting out of an iceberg off the coast of Alaska, and proceeds to attack an oil pipeline. S.H.I.E.L.D. (led by Dugan and Woo) arrive and try to stop Godzilla with a powerful laser cannon but fail. Godzilla eventually leaves just as Nick Fury arrives with a Japanese scientist (along with his assistant and his grandson) who might have the answer to stop Godzilla.
Godzilla's origin is explained using 1956 as the year of his awakening via an oceanic atomic bomb test. This uses the U.S release of the first film as reference since the movie was released in the U.S in 1956 while it was released in Japan in 1954.
