Story Featuring Jimmy Olsen

Storyline

Jimmy starts his (and Chloe's) plan to make Metropolis look boring, so that the Dalwythian celebration will not destroy Earth. Perry reads from his novel, Supergirl shops at Yarn Barn, Martha Kent describes Smallville, and the bars and clubs are all closed. It works; the aliens leave.

The Black Ring Part Six

Story Featuring Lex Luthor

Storyline

In 1358, Vandal Savage has protected the black spheres that he's discovered, creating a trap as he knows Luthor will eventually find them (though he doesn't know who he is). He checks on the building again over the centuries, but in the late 20th century, he recognizes Luthor in a newspaper. Within a few years, they meet, but Luthor has no interest in befriending Savage. In the present, Luthor figures out that he needs to change all the spheres, and does so. Savage notices his have changed. He then confronts Luthor in his boardroom after sabotaging the building, but Luthor still has an ace.
