Storyline

Dr. Carr invents a machine which predicts future events. The prediction that Superman will lose his powers brings a boldness to the actions of criminals. Carr reveals to Captain Jenner that Superman only pretended to be powerless and that they are hatching a trap to net Big Jim Martin.

Storyline

In the hideout of the villainous Greenface, Green Arrow and Speedy find a hall of criminal fame, giant statues celebrating infamous crooks. Members of Greenface's gang are perched on the shoulders of the statues and try to ambush the crimefighters.

Story Featuring The Boy Commandos

"Did you ever want to win a giant jackpot in a quiz show?"

Storyline

Boy Commando Brooklyn wins a radio quiz show, which comes with numerous prizes, providing he drinks a glass of the sponsor's Malto-Fizzo every thirty minutes. Among the prizes is a boat trip to South America. Napoleon Biggers hits on the idea of smuggling diamonds in Brooklyn's expensive camera. Fortunately, Rip has had it replaced with a cheaper model and the diamonds send Biggers to jail.

"When you make a promise to a ghost, be sure to keep it///"

Storyline

Mayor Morton promises to clean up the town if he is elected, but he reneges on his word. Zatara conjures a ghost, which visits Morton and scares him into keeping his promises himself.
