Story Notes
The Freedom Train was actually a real train that traveled the nation in 1947-1949 allowing people to view the Declaration of Independence, Emancipation Proclamation and other priceless pieces of American heritage. It was resurrected again in 1976, during the nation's Bi-Centennial celebration.
