Storyline: Bull's-Eye Bill protects his friend Steve from the Sheriff's posse after Steve uses a gun to settle a land dispute with his neighbor. This puts Bill in hot water with the law, but all is soon forgiven when cattle rustler Travis Trent strikes, and the Sheriff needs Bill's help to bring him in. Dee suffers an unrequited love for Bill, who has no time for women.

Storyline: Archeologists Simms and Ramon explore an erupting South American volcano. They discover, emerging from the devastation, the robot Manowar, who tells that he is the last servant of an ancient civilization. He was sent by his masters to bring the war mongers of the world to justice. He gets his first mission in the surrounding countryside, where Dictator Don Ruizen wages war for the benefit of corrupt oil companies.

Storyline: Bill is mystified by a stranger coming out of the general store who is packing a gun, but also is said to be heading out to the Veedor mining claim to have a shootout. To make matters worse, Bill's friend, Steve Casey, has not been seen at his mining claim in a week.

Storyline: A scientist known only as The Captain runs a foundation called Boyville, whose mission is to train young men to be Rangers. With the assistance of the Skipper and Ranger V-Y, they take an errant trainee, Speck, into the field for some much-needed discipline. The training mission runs into unexpected complications when V-Y and Speck are captured by spies.

Storyline: Rip Rory is a freshman at State College, entering with a reputation as a star basketball player from high school. Upperclassman Bart decides to show up the freshman by taking him to the gym and making a fool of him on the basketball court. The plan backfires, as Rip's turns the tables on Bart. Bart's girlfriend Anne sees Bart's cruelty, and introduces herself to Rip.
