Betty Lane takes in every bird she can, much to her mother's dismay. Zatara gives a show at Betty's school, and she asks him to speak to her mother. When they get to the Lane house all the birds have gone. Zatara takes Betty and her mother flying to demonstrate the positive effect that birds can have.
"Hi, Willie! Watcha got?"
Ozzie meets his friend, who has a bag of peanuts, and suggests they play zoo. Ozzie will be the elephant and Willie the boy who feeds him peanuts.
Story Featuring Congo Bill

Bill creates a "real" Christmas for Jimmy, the son of a medical missionary stationed in the Congo.
