Storyline

Wolverine and Spider-Man save a father and daughter from evil mutants.

Story Notes

The pair that the heroes save are implied to be Fawcett/DC's Captain Marvel (Shazam) and Mary Marvel. Wolverine refers to him as "Captain", and their surname is Beck - a nod to their creator C.C. Beck. The villain Savage Fin is almost identical to Savage Dragon, also created by Erik Larsen.

Story Featuring Comet Man

"Stephen, we've been at this for five hours straight now."

Storyline

Stephen enlists the help of Reed Richards in trying to locate his missing brother. He returns to Earth as Comet Man, and immediately saves a young girl from being run down by a speeding car.

Storyline

The Surfer is hijacked to a mysterious planet through a singularity controlled by a tyrant named Marauder, and fights to rescue the people there.
