Storyline

Superman agrees to undergo the powerful rays of a machine designed to study brain tissue, but, instead, ends up with temporary amnesia and he forgets his secret identity.

Schwartz first claimed this script credit in an interview in a 1990 issue of the FLORIDA TIMES. Credits from Siegel's records: Siegel and Shuster v. National Comics Publications, Inc. et al., case no. 1099 (Westchester Cty. Sup. Ct. 1947). Schwartz used the name Vernon Woodrum when writing comics. Superman's cape "S" symbol is yellow on red.

Storyline

Superman, in the guise of Clark Kent, travels with Lois to Ski Valley, which is being threatened by a death bird: a half-man, half-bird creature of Indian lore, and discovers a gang of crooks using this "bird" to scare off patrons so they can successfully smuggle out stolen furs.
