Storyline: Geezil tricks Wimpy with "invisible" hamburgers.
Storyline: Swee'pea plants a Victory Garden and wants to raise lemon drops, marshmallows, noodles, and sardines.
Storyline: Olive dumps Popeye to date Poopdeck Pappy.
Storyline: Wimpy disguises himself as a blind man and gets Swee'pea to beg for him.
Storyline: Olive suspects Wimpy is stealing food from her icebox, so she lays a trap for him.
Storyline: Popeye decides to grow spinach in water indoors. Swee'pea adds some tadpoles to the water.
Storyline: Popeye and Olive go for a walk. Olive doesn't have an appetite until the end of the walk when the pair is by a relatively-expensive diner.
Storyline: When Swee'pea does something bad, Olive punishes Popeye instead.
Storyline: Popeye hurries to make an appointment with Olive, but Olive is late.
Storyline: Popeye decides to marry Olive, but changes his mind after realizing that Pappy, Swee'pea, and Aunt Jones would be leaving.
Storyline: Popeye tries to get Wimpy to stop eating hamburgers.
Storyline: Wimpy makes a phonograph record of Geezil insulting him.
Storyline: Wimpy helps Popeye make up with Olive, and Popeye gives him a "bouquet" of hamburgers as a reward.
Storyline: Popeye runs into "Capting Pinn," a sailor who was with Popeye on a ship during a mutiny.
Storyline: Popeye takes Wimpy hunting to take his mind off hamburgers, but Wimpy shoots a moose and makes "mooseburgers."
Storyline: Wimpy does yard work for Popeye to earn money for a hamburger.
Storyline: When they are duck hunting, Popeye asks Olive to make a duck call. Wimpy shoots a bird, but it's a goose, not a duck.
Storyline: Aunt Jones sends Popeye and Swee'pea to the store for some pins. They come back with a load of bundles, but no pins.

Storyline: Swee'pea wants to drink onion juice before he and Popeye go on a walk.
Storyline: Wimpy brings a dummy dressed as Geezil to Rough-House's lunch counter to try to swindle some hamburgers.
Storyline: Wimpy tries to catch a sea-cow.
Storyline: Swee'pea eats lots of spinach so he can be an officer in the Navy.
Storyline: Wimpy disguises himself so that he can be hired as a counterman at Rough-House's diner.
Storyline: Geezil, in a fit of generosity, offers to pay Wimpy's hamburger bill.
Storyline: Popeye tries to cheer up Swee'pea after the Navy refused to accept him.
Storyline: Olive gets a job as a waitress at Rough-House's restaurant.
Storyline: Olive tries to make Popeye jealous by dancing with everyone but him.
Storyline: Olive wants to be a hostess at Popeye's "spinburger" stand. (Spinburgers are hamburgers with spinach on them.)
Storyline: Swee'pea decides he wants soup for breakfast.
Storyline: Popeye and Wimpy try to cheer Swee'pea up.
Storyline: Olive climbs a tree looking for Cupid, but is knocked off by an irritated bear.
