Story Featuring Iron Man

"It has no name."

Storyline

The Iron Man armor that was left behind in the dimension Rhodes had entered last issue, is possessed by an entity known as Omnos who comes to Earth in search of its rightful owner. Meanwhile the dinosaur that had battled Iron Man (# 194) enters Dr. Demonicus' underwater lair carrying the gray armor that Tony had worn. Demonicus decides to wear the armor himself to battle Iron Man and while looking for him engages the Omnos possessed armor in battle. Tony arrives on the scene wearing a make shift costume and is able to magnetize the suits of armor together. Omnos then returns to its dimension.

Story Notes

Page count from Mike Lorentz on 1 August 2004. Dr. Demonicus talks about his plans to create giant monsters to rule the world dubbed "Pax Demonicus". In one panel he's seen walking by huge vats where he is creating his monsters. Ultimately in latter appearances this never happened as Dr. Demonicus would end up mutating humans rather than giant monsters. He would next appear in Avengers West Coast #70 (1991). The mutated Godzilla would next appear in The Thing #31 (1986). Jim Rhodes jokingly refers to Tony Stark in his new costume as "Spare-Parts Man".
