Storyline

Superman is about to stop The Mole from destroying the Daily Planet building when he is abducted by Lord Satanis. Superman battles and is captured by Satanis, who tells Superman about his ongoing war with Syrene. Syrene arrives as Lord Satanis is trying to steal Superman's powers, and their magic results in Superman being split into two Supermen.
