The Legion must battle Grimbor, who accuses them of having caused Charma's death, while all the time Grimbor's Cosmic Chains are drawing ever tighter around Earth.

A group of thieves use laughing gas (laced with Kryptonite!) to disorient their victims and keep Superman away, but the Man of Steel tricks them with Fruit Pies.
