Story Featuring Vigilante

Storyline

A Ming vase is only the first in a string of robberies from curio shops. Stuff is concerned for his uncle, Lee Chin, and when he and Vigilante get to the shop they find a robbery already in progress. The crooks get away after knocking Vigilante out, but Stuff has found a key with an address stamped on it. This takes them to a warehouse on the docks, where they find the crooks getting ready to ship their loot across the bay. The ringleader is revealed to be Dr. Sanderson, Assistant Curator of Egyptology at the Fine Arts Museum.

Storyline

In Japanese-controlled China the resistance troops plan to blow up an airfield, but reinforcements are sent in before it can happen. Americommando is a prisoner. The village elder invites the Japanese base commander to a feast they have prepared in his honor. He asks to see Americommando and to tell him the Chinese are happy under Japanese rule. After he has left Americommando thinks on his last words, "a wise man examines the bench before he sits" and finds a dagger under his bench. Escaping, he joins forces with the freedom fighters and sets fire to the air base.

Story Featuring Zatara

"Get under cover! Because it isn't raining rain...it's dripping crime!"

Storyline

Zatara is performing in a small town when he hears a jewelry store owner tell his assistant to get the gems into the vault as it looks like rain. Zatara wants to know the connection, and is told that every robbery in the past three months has occurred during a rain storm. The thieves then vanish without a trace. Walking on, Zatara interrupts a robbery by men who seem to have just appeared from nowhere. They take the elevator to the roof and disappear. Zatara uses magic to walk into the clouds and finds a floating island, which he causes to lands in front of the police station.
