Storyline

Separately, Aquaman is attacked by criminal dolphin fishers, Atom by kidnappers, Green Arrow and Black Canary by Nazis, and Superman and Batman by hijackers. Zatanna figures out that the attacks are all connected, as part of a strange game of chess. Elsewhere, J'onn J'onzz and Despero face each other over a chessboard.
