Story Featuring Godzilla

"Instant recap: Deep in a Canadian ice-cave, a man-monster had lain frozen in suspended animation..."

Storyline

Godzilla, Yetrigar and Red Ronin engage in a three way battle in the Grand Canyon. While this free for all is happening, four rafters get trapped due to the fight and try to find a way to survive amidst the carnage. Ultimately Red Ronin reluctantly buries Yetrigar under an avalanche of boulders to keep him from killing Godzilla. Godzilla and Red Ronin go their separate ways as Dugan and Jones arrive to save the rafters.

Yetrigar would be freed from his rocky tomb by Mockingbird in West Coast Avengers (Marvel, 1985 series) #32 (May 1988).

Thor Meets a Glutton for Gold

"Golden Asgard has been less golden of late..."

Storyline

Obsessed with gold, Gudrun steals and hoards Asgardian gold. Thor and Sif use the "golden goodness" of Hostess Twinkies to entrap him.
