Storyline

The super-sons stumble into a ghost town where Clark, Jr. has no powers and they are hunted by four characters from the Old West. But Superboy, Jr. figures out a way to momentarily restore his powers and haul the desperadoes to justice.

Feature bannered as "The Super Sons of Superman and Batman" on splash page. The story also has three separate chapter titles: Part 1 - Trio of Fear; Part 2 - He Whom Evil Fights; Part 3 - The Epitaph That Saved a Superman. The entire Super Sons of Superman and Batman series is explained away in World's Finest Comics (DC, 1941 series) #263, though there is an additional Super Sons story later in Elseworlds 80-Page Giant (DC, 1999 series) #1.
