Story Notes

Stan's Soapbox notes that writing a comic-book script could be considered more difficult than writing for the stage, screen, or TV. Results of the "Life is--" request start with the one-liners by Tom King, Greg Sturgeon, Tom Lane, D. Brewer, and Raymond Vanover. Artists are changing assignments. Stan is working on a long-play album with British musical group Icarus, Stan appeared on the "To Tell the Truth" TV program, cut two tapes for the Canadian Broadcasting Company, and also made a two-hour appearance on Alex Bennett's show on WMCA radio. Roy Thomas was on Joe Franklin's radio program and made a speaking appearance at Cardoza College. Marvel colorists Stan Goldberg, Mimi Gold, Neal Adams, Tom Palmer, Sharon Cohen, Marie Severin, Paul Reinman, and Bill Everett are given credit. Also the same "Marvel" spot illustration as last month only horizontal this time instead of vertical.
