Peril of the Paired Planets

Story Featuring Justice League

Storyline

A new menace threatens both Earths 1 and 2 as Red Tornado is captured by a foe known only as Creator2. Using his unique vibrational energies, Creator2 targets both the JSA and JLA separately, as each world's doppelganger falls prey to Creator2's traps. To be continued...

Story Notes

Credits for script, pencils and inks confirmed from Julius Schwartz's editorial records, provided by DC Comics. First appearance of the Batman of Earth-2 as a cameo appearance. Although the Earth-2 Batman is introduced, for some reason Dr. Mid-Nite was targeted instead by the writer for this story as being the Earth-1 Batman's closest equivalent.
