Story Featuring Fantastic Four

"Enslaved on the planet Kral, deep within the mysterious Skrull..."

Credits
Story Notes

This story combines elements from two episodes of Star Trek the Original Series (1966-1969): forced gladiatorial combat for the entertainment of alien masters ("The Gamesters of Triskelion", aired January 05, 1968) and imitating 1920's American gangster culture ("A Piece of the Action", aired January 12, 1968). These episodes aired on consecutive weeks in January 1968 and, given the time of publication, it is not inconceivable that Stan Lee or Jack Kirby (or both) could have borrowed from them... not knowing that, in the near future, Star Trek would become a well-known and well-studied mainstay of American popular culture.
