Storyline

A dictator uses a remote island to harvest flowers for nerve gas. A slave named named Pancho attempts to summon Superman, but is caught, and dressed in a makeshift Superman costume to be taunted. The attempt gets Superman's attention, so he gives Super-Pancho a helping hand.

This is the modified version with the Legionnaires drawn by John Forte. There is an opinion that the Lois and Lana heads might be redrawn or inked by Kurt Schaffenberger, but there was no consensus on this when discussed on the GCD lists.

Storyline

As a reward for helping irrigate their planet, an alien race bestows on Superman the honor of drinking the sacred scarlet nectar, which had not been bestowed for 25 years. Unfortunately, it had undergone a chemical change and become poison. Superman's invulnerability partially saved him, but instead caused a large weight increase.
