Story Notes
In the letters page of Daredevil #58 Roy Thomas explains that this origin story using much of the original dialogue from Daredevil #1 had been commissioned when Stan Lee was still scripting the comic. Roy added a new splash page and an extra page at the end of the story to tie it into present continuity.
