Story Featuring X-Men
"From the grave to which all had thought him consigned,"
Magneto declares that Lorna Dane is his daughter and gives Lorna the choice of siding with him or with the X-Men. Instead of waiting for Lorna to decide, the X-Men choose to fight Magneto and his minions. Realizing that they are overwhelmed, the X-Men flee from the battle, but Lorna remains behind with Magneto.

Conquistador believes that he has found the last link in his plans for human domination after witnessing the mutant abilities of Hank McCoy; so, Conquistador sets about kidnapping Hank and Hank's parents to coerce the young mutant into complying with his scheme.
The Origins of the Uncanny X-Men! part 14, origin of the Beast part 3, pages 1 and 2 of this story is not reprinted in the Amazing Adventures #17 and X-Men: Mutations #nn reprints.
