When Love Goes Away!

Storyline: A terrible auto accident renders Rick blind. He meets Jen, a blind girl, at the Mitter School for the Blind. The two fall in love and Rick proposes. Rick's sight is restored following an operation. Jen sends him away, not wanting to be a burden to him. A month later, Rick reappears and assures Jen that his love is real. She agrees to marry him.

Storyline: Joan discovers Alice, an old girlfriend, is about to be married. She arrives at Alice's home with best wishes and meets her husband to be -- Chris, a man that had helped Joan recover from a bad relationship two years in the past. Joan is married now and feels nothing but happiness for the couple.

Storyline: Peggy flies to Paris looking for excitement. She meets Nick. He wants to do a story on an American girl's first trip to Paris. Peggy falls in love with him. She believes he has no interest in her other than his professional interest as a journalist. On her last day in Paris, Nick confesses his love and proposes.

Storyline: Karen wants Kip to give up his hippie life, return to college, and become a sensible, responsible man, but Kip has taken a job with a band and wants Karen to travel with him. Karen's parents have enrolled her in a college far from home to get her away from Kip, and she submits to their will. She leaves for college without contacting Kip.
