The House of Shadows!

Story Featuring Doctor Strange

"Not often does Dr. Strange walk the city streets!"

Storyline

Strange is on the scene to observe a TV crew as they prepare to enter & broadcast about a "Haunted House". Strange discovers something is amiss, as he is unable to enter via his spirit form. When the signal goes dead, Strange enters the house physically, and uncovers a surprising secret... the house is alive!

Story Notes

The phrase, "The house is alive" is reportedly one of the things Roger Corman said in order to convince his bosses at AIP to allow him to film Poe's "The Fall of the House of Usher"(1961). The origin of the house is strikingly similar to the one in "The Outer Limits" episode, "The Guests".
