The Monster of Zollmort Castle
Story 2 6 pages horror-suspense

"There was evil in the old ruins..."

Storyline

Novelist Peter Fletcher visits Zollmort castle in Central Europe. By opening a sealed door in the dungeons, he releases the Zollmort monster; a huge green monster with an oversized head. He and his wife have to fight for their lives and are saved when the castle's disfigured caretaker, Quadro, destroys himself and the monster with dynamite.

Song of the Undead!
Story 3 6 pages horror-suspense

"Stark horror faced John and Dorothy Blaik..."

Storyline

John and Dorothy Blaik travel through Mexico looking for folk songs. The beautiful Xatl introduces them to the "Song of the Undead". Any one who plays the song will be doomed and fall prey to vampires. Dorothy plays the song and is attacked by Xatl who turns out to be a vampire. When John sees his dead wife, he plays the song. Dorothy is revived as an undead vampire and kills her husband. Afterwards a little boy finds the sheet music for the song and vows to play it when he learns music.

British Colonial East Africa: The commissioner's daughter Tani is seriously ill and seeks help from native witch doctor Loganzi. She dies during the ceremony and Loganzi is hanged. But he and Tani haunt the land in the shape of a giant python snake.

The Curse of the Bulaga!
Story 7 7 pages horror-suspense

"Out of the frozen wastes it came..."

Storyline

Explorer Jon Norland travels to Antarctica to hunt the fabled Bulaga beast, a tusked walrus like monster. He finds it caught in a block of ice. After thawing it, the Bulaga comes alive. The monster kills Jon's companion, the beautiful Althea, and then chases Norland around the world. Eventually the monster takes the form of Althea and kills Jon in a tropical locale.
