Story featuring B'wana Beast

Storyline: The flashback continues. Rupert and Michael take shelter in a cave near the top of Kilimanjaro. There, Rupert gives Michael a drink of mineral-laced water. Michael becomes larger and stronger and when the ape Njuba places a strange helmet on his head, he can communicate with animals. He becomes B'wana Beast and uses his new powers to help protect the Zambesi Game Preserve. Rupert is appointed national police commissioner and is ordered to bring the mysterious B'wana Beast to justice.

Storyline: Hamid Ali, in his giant robot crocodile, attacks B'wana Beast. Rupert and his helicopter pilot help drive Ali back. A flashback: Michael Maxwell and Rupert graduate from college. They fly to Rupert's homeland in Africa. A storm forces them to crash-land on Kilimanjaro.
