Storyline: Preview of the two stories in the issue.
Storyline: Tom Brewster trails an outlaw gang to find a man who can clear Jed Davis of being involved in a bank robbery. When he returns, he finds that the newspaper editor, whose father was killed in the robbery, has convinced the town that Davis is guilty.
Storyline: Tom Brewster buys some law books at an estate sale. Later two outlaws trail Brewster to get one of the books, which they have been told contains $5,000 in hidden cash.
Storyline: William Comstock challenges Bill Cody to a buffalo-shooting contest for the title of "Buffalo Bill."
