Story Notes

According to Schaffenberger in a 1998 letter, many covers at ACG were penciled and inked by him, but signed by Pete Costanza because DC editor Mort Weisinger (for whom Schaffenberger worked on the Superman Family titles at that time) did not want him drawing superhero covers for other companies.

Magicman vs. the Wizard of Science!
Storyline

Magicman is captured by the Wizard of Science and forced to make a propaganda broadcast endorsing Fidel Castro.

Stone Age Man
Storyline

Chesley Grimmick is mysteriously transported back in time to prehistoric days where he befriends the cavemen there and eventually dies. In the present, his skeleton and watch are unearthed by two paleontologists who cannot understand what they have found.

The Ghost That Died!
Storyline

Henry Matthews enlists the aid of a ghost hunter to destroy the ghost of his nephew Steven. He doesn't realize that his nephew's ghost was trying to warn him to avoid the madman who killed Steven, so he is murdered too.
