According to Schaffenberger in a 1998 letter, many covers at ACG were penciled and inked by him, but signed by Pete Costanza because DC editor Mort Weisinger (for whom Schaffenberger worked on the Superman Family titles at that time) did not want him drawing superhero covers for other companies.

Trying to solve a robbery performed by sorcery, Magicman travels to the past to meet Merlin and ask his advice, but finds Merlin plagued by a similar problem. He deduces that it's his father the wizard Cagliostro, who's responsible, and travels to his time. Cagliostro stole all the wealth to ransom his queen, kidnapped by Baron Angiotti, so Magicman frees the queen and returns the stolen treasures.
Rocket pilot Gary Faulkner is a real bully who looks forward to his first space mission where he plans to conquer the planet they're exploring. However, the aliens have a timid-ray which reverses his personality permanently.
Unscrupulous antiques dealer Jasper Ferall discovers the legendary Norns, who appear to be simply three elderly sisters weaving tapestries. But when he tries to take advantage of one's ability to tell the future, he learns that not everything can be foreseen.
