Hal Jordan flies through space, menaced by a giant image of Hector Hammond.

Hector Hammond has been able to find another piece of the meteor that gave him his powers, and uses it to increase his powers. But overuse while trying to defeat Green Lantern reverts him back to his helpless state.
Story Featuring Green Lantern Corps
Charlie is becoming disgusted with the duties of a Green Lantern and the isolation of not being near any humans.
Story continues in the next issue. Charlie Vicker of Earth became a Green Lantern in the events of Green Lantern #55 and #56, where his name was given as Charley Vicker.
