T'Challa returns to Patrick Slade's store to find out the name of his mother. Elmer Gore smashes in and, holding Slade at knife-point, reveals that Slade contacted his boss with an offer to keep his mouth shut if he was paid.
The table of contents incorrectly states the title of the story is "Lost Promises".

Coldblood breaks out of the false New York and finds himself in the middle of the Nevada Desert. He makes his way to Las Vegas, where he is attacked by more robots.
Story Featuring Quasar
"This man not yet out of his twenties..."
Quasar goes to the aid of the Man-Thing, who appears to be pregnant. After cutting out the thing inside, they find it is the villain Quagmire from the alternate reality of Earth-712.
