Within the Swamp, There Stirs a Glob

Story Featuring Hulk

Storyline

Hulk is leaping over Florida when he is accidentally struck by a missile causing him to crash-land in the swamp. Finding a cabin, Hulk destroys some barrels of radioactive waste which creates a muck monster soon to be known as the Glob. The army is in the marsh hunting the Hulk when the Glob captures Betty, thinking she is the woman he loved back in the days when he was a human. The Hulk and the Glob battle but the muck monster ends up giving his life in helping the Hulk save Betty from anti-radioactive goop that Ross has poured into the swamp in order to kill both the Glob and the Hulk.

Storyline

Hulk escapes Project Greenskin and begins to hunt for Jarella. When he accidentally mistakes Lorna Dane and her green hair for his lost love, this puts him into conflict with her very powerful boyfriend, Havok, who handily beats him. Betty and Glenn find Bruce lying unconscious in the desert and, in a state of delirium, Bruce professes his love for Jarella to the woman he is supposed to be in love with.
